Piezocision for rapid orthodontic treatments

is Professor and Chair of the Department of Periodontology and Oral Biology at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. A graduate of Tufts and Boston Universities, he was a research associate in Dr. Sigmund Socransky's laboratory at the Forsyth Institute and the senior periodontist at Boston's Children's hospital prior to his Boston University appointment. He has been working on periodontally accelerated orthodontics for the past 10 years.

He has developped Piezocision in 2009 as a minimally invasive alternative to the existing surgical procedures. He has published in peer reviewed journals and is the author of 4 books (Wiley-BLackwell editors). He is a diplomate of the ABP and maintains a pivate practice limited to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in Boston, MA.

got her DDS, PhD and advanced certificate in Orthodontics training from Hacettepe University (Turkey). After graduating from Hacettepe, she spent 5 years at Boston University in the Department of Orthodontics and Orofacial Orthopedics (Pr. Gianelli). She was the director of postgraduate orthodontics at BU Dubai (2008). She teaches currently at Boston University and is in private practice in Istanbul, Turkey.
